Too many things are going on in this world, that I am compelled to put together this blog.
It’s my first attempt at such a thing, and I must confess… The thought of writing my thoughts down into a page where everyone can read them is, well, quite a bit intimidating. I have browsed other people’s blogs and I must say… There are some incredibly talented writers and journalists out there, and I am truly humbled just to embark on this journey.
But, God gave me a few gifts – vision in the form of photography talent, a voice in the form of a radio announcer, and words in the form of journalistic ability. I have been in either of these fields or all of them at one time of my life.
To be honest, I don’t know how this whole blog thing works. I do know that there are many established blogs, professional and the like, and other blogs where gifted people have shared with us a part of themselves.
So, this is my attempt at blogging – I’ve decided to “get in the game,” so to speak.
My blog will be a combination of a journal, editorial and photo blog. If there was a way to record audio and put it into this blog, I would probably do that as well – if I ever find a way to do it, that is.
I have not put too much thought into how often I will contribute to this blog, although once a week is probably a good start.
For now, I will just say this… I am happy and grateful there is such a medium for me to put my thoughts down in the public domain (what used to be pen to paper).
I hope to enjoy this journey along with those of you I encounter along the way.
